I saw Automata when it screened at a festival this weekend. I had heard a bit about it back when the filmmakers ran a crowdfunder. I couldn't contribute at the time so I was glad to get a chance to see it! And I was not disappointed. I kind of knew it would be right up my street - a cursed doll, a period setting and a good old-fashioned mystery.
